Blimey! Google’s got an Australian blog

Just a quick note to say I found Google posting on their Official Blog about their new Australian blog. I really love it when companies like Google take a local interest, and some of you probably already know I really don’t like it when we’re ignored. It’s great to see the people at the Sydney Googleplex know how to keep us Aussies in the loop. Kudos Google; you’ve scored yet another hallowed place in my feed reader (which, technically is also yours).

Welcome to James’ 5th Blog!

That’s right. Depressing as that sounds, this is my 5th attempt at starting (and maintaining) a blog. I’ve given this some serious thought before starting this particular iteration - why would I keep doing this?

Why have I just paid for a year of hosting so that I can neglect another blog?
Why do I have such enthusiasm for having my say on the internet, anyway? Why can’t I just shut the hell up?

These are questions that need to be answered before I can venture onward again in the blogosphere. So here are 3 reasons why I’ve never been able to maintain a blog in the past, and 3 reasons why this version will work, dagnammit!
